Greetings,

For years my close-knit friends have encouraged me to share my moments-of-deepness with “the world”—and I have found podcasting to be the perfect medium.

As a retired counselor, I have helped people become more hopeful during very troubling times for over 25 years. As poet and Podcast-Master (smile), it is my intent that you will find my poetry, and other thoughts, to be thought provoking, relaxing and inspiring.

ABOUT j-so Poetry's Logo ..... I use the Dagara Cosmology Wheel as my logo. I use this symbol with permission from Dr. Malidoma Patrice Somé--a world-renowned Dagara Elder, Diviner, Author, and Teacher of Indigneous Technologies from West Africa. He was born in a Dagara community in Burkina Faso and holds two PhDs and three Master's Degrees. I was very moved by the beauty and meaning of the Dagara Cosmology Wheel as Dr. Somé explains in his book, THE HEALING WISDOM OF AFRICA: Finding Life Purpose through Nature, Ritual and Community. While attending one of Dr. Somé's workshops (in North Carolina-2005), I asked him if I could use the Dagara Cosmology Wheel--that was used in his book--with my projects; and he graciously granted permission.
